Description:
If we help with "basic needs" we can prevent "homelessness & welfare dependency". No progress is possible without shelter, food & clothing. We operate year-round and need volunteers, funds, donated food, & school supplies.
By supplementing these basic necessities, people have the ability pay their rent and utilities. Then, they are able to move their lives forward. The program also offers computer and office training to increase job skills.
Over 12,000 people are referred yearly by: 148 public agencies, churches schools and hospitals. This support helps people remain in the workplace during times of crises.
