Description:
   The Carpinteria Valley Museum of History provides a fascinating glimpse into the Valley’s past. A variety of unique exhibits examine the three major cultures that made this valley their home. The three cultural periods: the Chumash Indians, Mexican Rancho and American Pioneers.
    The Carpinteria Valley Historical Society, a nonprofit educational organization, created, maintains, and operates the Museum and research library.
    The Society is dedicated to collect, preserve, interpret, and exhibit objects of historical significance related to the Valley.

MUSEUM MARKETPLACE A SELL-OUT ..... All 75 vendor stalls have been reserved for the Museum Marketplace to be held this Saturday, August 25, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the grounds of the Carpinteria Valley Museum of History at 956 Maple Avenue.
This popular fund-raising event features antiques, collectibles, hand-crafted gifts, plants, and bargains on gently used and vintage goods of every description including jewelry, furniture, house wares, clothing, books, tools, toys, and much more!
Tax-deductible donations of items for the museum’s rummage tables are always appreciated and will be accepted any time prior to the day of the market.

You will find between 70 and 100 vendors at this popular fund-raising event. Among their interesting wares offered are antiques and collectibles, hand-crafted gifts, and bargains on used goods of every description -- Vintage jewelry, furniture, clothing, books, tools, toys, plants, and much more will be for sale.
Admission to these fun, family flea markets is always free!
Flea Market hours are from 8 AM to 3PM (set-up 6:30 to 8:00 AM). Space rental fees are $30 for an approximately 12 X 12 ft. space; limited number of double spaces available. Reservations may be made in person at the museum or by phone (805) 684-3112, up to one month prior to the event.

The Carpinteria Valley Museum of History will sponsor its first Museum Marketplace (formerly the Flea Market) of the new year on Saturday, January 30 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the museum grounds at 956 Maple Avenue. The popular monthly market features 75 vendors with great bargains on antiques, collectibles, hand-crafted gifts, and vintage goods of every description including jewelry, house wares, furniture, clothing, toys, books, plants and much more! Tax-deductible donations of used items for the museum’s rummage tables are accepted any time prior to the day of the market and are greatly appreciated.
