Description:
Forever Runners is an organization run by local Malibu residences that have a passion for running and other athletic endeavors. Our mission is to promote health and fitness through our website and fun athletic events. We strive to bring athletes from around the world together to achieve their athletic goals, build new relationships, and raise money for charities.
The Malibu International Health & Fitness expo will bring you a variety of cutting edge exhibitors. Take advantage of the expo experience - try on new running gear, sample delicious electrolytes, water and energy bars, and listen to health experts give tips on running and nutrition. After attending the expo, you will be mentally and physically prepared to run like the wind! All racers are required to attend the Health & Fitness Expo to pick up their race number, timing chip, T-shirt and goodie bag. Please bring a photo ID and copy of the race confirmation.
Marathon Details: Date: November 15th, 2009 Start Time: 7 a.m. Start Line: Pleasant Valley Rd & Los Posas Rd Finish Time: *1:30 p.m. *The course is based on six and a half hour time limit. The roads will be re-opened after the time limit. Runners will be encouraged to finish the marathon, but will be asked to move to the sidewalks and obey regular traffic laws. The Finish Line will stay open for runners until 2:30 pm.
