   We hope you have a great time at this year's fair! It will be lots of fun! Do you have a story you would like to share? Did you fall in love? Did you discover that you aren't afraid to bungee jump? Were you inspired by the wonderful entries? We would love to hear from you! Send us your Fair time memories so that we may enjoy them and share them with others!
    The Ventura County Fairgrounds provide endless opportunity for local residents. Annual quality programming entertains and educates, but fair-time itself is the most economically stimulating and rewarding time of the year. For twelve exciting summer days, the Ventura County Fair fully dedicates itself to the community at large—Not only can neighbors come out and experience shared solidarity and city pride, but entrants of all ages can showcase their wares and be rewarded for their endeavors.
    The 31st District Agricultural Association (DAA) comprises a legal body which governs the Fair and fairgrounds. Although the DAA is a state entity, it does not receive money from the state general fund. The Association remains endowed through locally generated revenue and horse racing wagering facilities. The Fair is truly a regional enterprise. In troubled economic times, the Fair is a constant source of income for the county and its inhabitants.

Now in its 5th year, A Tribute to the Music of Johnny Cash is the ultimate way to celebrate the legacy of the Man in Black. The festival features a great line-up of bands playing their owns hits along with Cash covers, a display of vintage cars and motorcycles, priceless memorabilia, a juried pin-up contest, and plenty of food and drinks.

STRG is a skater-owned, women's banked-track roller derby league with members from all around the Ventura County. STRG was founded in Dec 2009 with the intention of bringing banked track roller derby to Oxnard and providing a new and exciting form of entertainment for the community, while also serving as a charitable organization in the community. After a few years of training, searching for their home A.K.A "The Sugar Shack", and building their very own banked track the ladies of Sugartown Rollergirls are ready to bring a hard-hitting, fast paced, exhilarating game to Ventura County for the first time. There is no "typical" roller girl. The league is comprised of strong, intelligent women who share a goal determination and athleticism through the sport of roller derby.
