Hailed as the “finest big band in the world today” (Daily Telegraph, U.K.) and praised for its extraordinary versatility, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra is composed of 15 of the world’s leading jazz soloists and ensemble players under the leadership of nine-time Grammy-winning jazz legend Wynton Marsalis.
Drawing from an extensive repertoire that includes original compositions by Marsalis, Ted Nash and other members of the orchestra, as well as masterworks of Ellington, Mingus, Coltrane and other icons of jazz, their swinging, lively concerts win raves from sold-out audiences the world over.
