An exceptional variety of fine handicrafts await shoppers at the Carpinteria Valley Museum of History's Annual Holiday Arts & Crafts Faire. The Faire will showcase over 80 participating artisans from throughout California. Some of the thousands of unique gifts offered for sale will include wooden toys, country crafts, fine jewelry, quilts crochet hats, scarves and apparal, fused stained glass art, metal garden scuplture, storybook dolls, baby gifts, and festive Christmas ornaments, decorations and wreaths. From ceramics and blown glass to original photography, oil and watercoler paintings, this year's Faire promises art for everyone's tastes and pocket-book. The museum will offer a variety of refreshments, including hot foods, and fresh home baked goodies. There will also be live folk music; and children will enjoy photos and candy canes with Santa Claus. Space rental is $75 for a 10’ X 10’; $95 for a 15’ X 10’ space. Vendors may ONLY sell their OWN hand-crafted art and gifts. Faire hours are from 10 am to 3 pm. Set-up is from 7:00 to 9:30 am. Applications are mailed three months prior to the event. MUSEUM MARKETPLACE A SELL-OUT ..... All 75 vendor stalls have been reserved for the Museum Marketplace to be held this Saturday, August 25, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the grounds of the Carpinteria Valley Museum of History at 956 Maple Avenue.
This popular fund-raising event features antiques, collectibles, hand-crafted gifts, plants, and bargains on gently used and vintage goods of every description including jewelry, furniture, house wares, clothing, books, tools, toys, and much more!
Tax-deductible donations of items for the museum’s rummage tables are always appreciated and will be accepted any time prior to the day of the market.

The Carpinteria Valley Museum of History will sponsor its first Museum Marketplace (formerly the Flea Market) of the new year on Saturday, January 30 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the museum grounds at 956 Maple Avenue.
The popular monthly market features 75 vendors with great bargains on antiques, collectibles, hand-crafted gifts, and vintage goods of every description including jewelry, house wares, furniture, clothing, toys, books, plants and much more!
