American rock guitarist, pianist, singer, and songwriter John Hiatt has played a variety of musical styles on his albums, including New Wave, blues and country. Hiatt has been nominated for eleven Grammy Awards and has been awarded a variety of other distinctions in the music industry. On June 15, 2015, Jeb Bush announced his plans to run for President in the upcoming presidential elections. He was elected Florida's forty-third governor in 1998 and reelected in 2002, becoming the first Republican to be reelected governor in the state's history. Prior to that, he helped start a real estate development company that today is one of the largest, full-service commercial real estate companies in South Florida. 7/23 - Heads Up! Robert Cray ... Canyon Club ... July 31 ... Five-time Grammy Winner (and 15-time nominee) Robert Cray is widely recognized as one of the greatest guitarists of our time. The New Yorker recently called him, “one of the most reliable pleasures of soul and blues for over three decades now.” He has written or performed with everyone, from Eric Clapton to Stevie Ray Vaughan, from Bonnie Raitt to John Lee Hooker, and in 2011, he was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame. His career spans more than forty years as a musician, and he is on top of his game. He notes with pride and some amusement, that he continues to see new, younger faces in his audiences. “There’s a younger generation now whose parents turned them on to our music,” he says.
