Mark Levin has agreed to join us at that dinner. Books must be purchased through the Reagan Library Museum Store to receive signature and can be pre-purchased during the reservation process. People with pre-purchased books will have priority in the book signing line.

On June 15, 2015, Jeb Bush announced his plans to run for President in the upcoming presidential elections. He was elected Florida's forty-third governor in 1998 and reelected in 2002, becoming the first Republican to be reelected governor in the state's history. Prior to that, he helped start a real estate development company that today is one of the largest, full-service commercial real estate companies in South Florida. 7/23 - Heads Up! Robert Cray ... Canyon Club ... July 31 ... Five-time Grammy Winner (and 15-time nominee) Robert Cray is widely recognized as one of the greatest guitarists of our time. The New Yorker recently called him, “one of the most reliable pleasures of soul and blues for over three decades now.” He has written or performed with everyone, from Eric Clapton to Stevie Ray Vaughan, from Bonnie Raitt to John Lee Hooker, and in 2011, he was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame. His career spans more than forty years as a musician, and he is on top of his game. He notes with pride and some amusement, that he continues to see new, younger faces in his audiences. “There’s a younger generation now whose parents turned them on to our music,” he says.

7/22 - Wow! Oscar Hernández ... Friday Night Concert (Oxnard Salsa Festival) ... Oscar Hernández has long been considered one of the most gifted and prominent pianist/ arrangers on the contemporary Latin, Latin jazz and Salsa music scene. After two decades of session work, composing, arranging and producing, band leader Hernández was approached by producer Aaron Levinson in 2000 about the idea of assembling and recording a Latin jazz orchestra. The result was Un Gran Dia en el Barrio, the 2002 debut recording from Spanish Harlem Orchestra that scored a Grammy nomination for Best Salsa Album and a Latin Billboard Award for Salsa Album of the Year. Based on the success of their first CD, Hernández and Spanish Harlem Orchestra began touring and wowing audiences all over the world.

7/16 - Aaron Lewis -- Saturday at the Canyon Club ... Aaron Lewis first rose to prominence as the founding member of Staind, with whom he released seven studio albums. Aaron Lewis has since made his journey to the country scene. In 2011 he released his debut country EP, Town Line, and enjoyed success with the gold-selling single “Country Boy,” featuring legendary George Jones and Charlie Daniels. The seven-song EP reached No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and No. 7 on the Billboard Top 200 upon its release. 7/2 - Shanté Morgan-Durisseau of Moorpark joins the Ventura County Fairgrounds Board of Directors ... The 31st District Agricultural Association (Ventura County Fairgrounds and Event Center) is happy to announce the Governor’s appointment of our newest Director: Shanté Morgan-Durisseau of Moorpark.
Ms. Morgan-Durisseau is managing editor at the CSU Northridge Marketing and Communications Office. She has been an instructor at California Lutheran University, a lecturer at the California State University, Northridge Department of Journalism and a political affairs reporter at Copley News Service.
