Winners of the 2015 Ventura County Fair Announced
... The 2015 Ventura County Fair, "A Country Fair with Ocean Air" is pleased to announce the winners of the competitive exhibits in each department. One of the most popular features of the Ventura County Fair are the competitive exhibits. Thousands of entries are carefully and lovingly exhibited at the Fair each year, where they are judged according to specific competitive criteria.
All of the winners can be found on the 2015 Ventura County Fair website on Main Fair web page and on the pages of each department. Visitors can select a link to view the winners from each department.
Ventura Police Department Presented with Western Fairs Association Blue Ribbon Award
... The Ventura County Fair Board of Directors and management presented the Ventura Police Department with the Western Fairs Association Blue Ribbon Award. This award is presented to organizations that have demonstrated a long term commitment to the success of a County Fair. Ventura Police Chief Ken Corney accepted the award on behalf of the entire Police Department for the work of all officers, in keeping patrons safe, year after year during the fair.
“We are grateful to the Ventura Police Department for their commitment to keeping the Ventura County Fair a safe family event and we congratulate them on receiving this award.” said Barbara Quaid, Ventura County Fair CEO
Shanté Morgan-Durisseau of Moorpark joins the Ventura County Fairgrounds Board of Directors
... The 31st District Agricultural Association (Ventura County Fairgrounds and Event Center) is happy to announce the Governor’s appointment of our newest Director: Shanté Morgan-Durisseau of Moorpark.
Ms. Morgan-Durisseau is managing editor at the CSU Northridge Marketing and Communications Office. She has been an instructor at California Lutheran University, a lecturer at the California State University, Northridge Department of Journalism and a political affairs reporter at Copley News Service. "We are excited to have Shanté as a part of the 31st District Agricultural Association Board,” says Fairgrounds CEO Barbara Quaid.
