Among their interesting wares offered are antiques and collectibles, hand-crafted gifts, and bargains on used goods of every description -- Vintage jewelry, furniture, clothing, books, tools, toys, plants, and much more will be for sale. Admission to these fun, family flea markets is always free!

5/26 - This Saturday ... Museum Marketplace + Annual Plant & Flower Sale in Carpinteria ... The Carpinteria Valley Museum of History will sponsor a huge Memorial Weekend Museum Marketplace to benefit the Museum. This month’s market will include the annual plant & flower sale featuring exotic orchids, thousands of beautiful cut flowers, as well as garden and houseplants, all donated by over 30 local nurseries. Support the work of the Historical Society while beautifying your home and garden!

9/13 - Seep Tours tomorrow .... 9/14 ... You have an opportunity to learn more about the oil and gas seeps near Coal Oil Point! Venoco provides weekend tours aboard the “Condor Express” giving the general public a close up view of the "World's Most Spectacular Seeps.” There are two tours each day at 8:30 and 10:00 am. Persons of any age may attend. It is a great morning out for the whole family!
The tours begin in the Santa Barbara Harbor at the Sea Landing dock. You will board the “Condor Express” and travel up the coast to Coal Oil Point. Participants view the 6,000 gallons of oil that seeps naturally and 5 million cubic feet of natural gas that rises from the ocean floor each day. Join us on Saturday, August 31 for "Back to the Future II" when Marty McFly must repeat his visit to 1955 to prevent disastrous changes to 1985... without interfering with his first trip! 5/9 - Lisle Nixon Memorial Polo Tournament Finals ... this Sunday May 12th ... It's time for polo matches every Sunday afternoon. Patrons are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch. Refreshments available. Great fun for the entire family. Wear sunscreen & bring your camera! Games subject to change.
There is a $10 entry fee per person to attend Polo Sundays. There are two games every Sunday at 1pm and 3pm. Everyone will receive a Polo Program which is a magazine about Polo and the Club, and will help you understand the game if this is your first time. Bring the family and take part in an age-old traditional game!

The one-man show, written by Len Lamensdorf and directed by Asa Olsson, is the story of Billy Lee, an African-American slave who served as George Washington’s valet and was, in fact, President Washington’s closest companion in war and peace.
