6/11 - Quite a Show ... Vaud & The Villains -- Saturday night ... Vaud and the Villains is an 18 piece orchestra and cabaret show. It is loosely themed as a traveling medicine show... 50% church, 50% get down and 5% circus. Its Americana Noir meets Moulin Rouge with the presentation of a modern day, over the top, rock and roll spectacle. Vaud and the Villains’ exuberant fusion of vintage New Orleans jazz, R&B and gospel music, wildly inventive arrangements and dynamic theatrical performance is simply a wonder to behold.

6/11 - Robben Ford Into The Sun Tour 2015 -- Friday night at the Canyon Club ... Five-time Grammy nominee Robben Ford brings is artful, contemporary songwriting and the stunning playing that’s made him a favorite foil of Miles Dais, Joni Mitchell, George Harrison and other legends to the Canyon stage. Ford’s extensive discography embraces more than 35 albums under his own name and with his various bands. There’s also Ford’s session and sideman work, which includes hundreds of concert appearances and albums by Bonnie Raitt, Barbra Streisand, Charlie Musselwhite, KISS, Ruthie Foster, Jimmy Witherspoon and Rickie Lee Jones.

Since the critically acclaimed 1976 debut album featuring his own brand of high quality seventies guitar rock and roll, Pat Travers has gone on to deliver melodic eighties rock, a blues period throughout most of the nineties, noted performances with various power trios during the first few years of the new Millennium, and a full blooded return to the trademark Pat Travers Band sound as he enters his fifth performing and recording decade. 5/15 - Robby Krieger (of The Doors) ... this Sunday at the Canyon Club ... The Doors guitarist Robby Krieger is a rock ‘n roll legend. His love for music started as a child, when he listened to his favorite record (Peter And The Wolf) until it broke. His musical tastes matured, and by the time he was a teenager he began seriously playing the guitar – Mexican Flamenco style. But his love for the blues and jazz eventually led him to rock ‘n roll, and subsequently to a place in history. Krieger wrote or co-wrote many of The Doors’ songs, including “Light My Fire,” “Love Me Two Times,” “Touch Me,” and ‘Love Her Madly”.
