8/13 - Marc Cohn -- Sunday at the Canyon Club ... Grammy Award winning songwriter and singer, Marc Cohn combines the precision of a brilliant tunesmith with the passion of a great soul man. Cohn’s solo career took off in 1990, with the recording of his critically acclaimed, self-titled debut disc, which yielded such classics in their own right as “Walking In Memphis,” “Silver Thunderbird,” and the lovely “True Companion,” and has continued on a steady path ever since.

7/23 - Heads Up! Robert Cray ... Canyon Club ... July 31 ... Five-time Grammy Winner (and 15-time nominee) Robert Cray is widely recognized as one of the greatest guitarists of our time. The New Yorker recently called him, “one of the most reliable pleasures of soul and blues for over three decades now.” He has written or performed with everyone, from Eric Clapton to Stevie Ray Vaughan, from Bonnie Raitt to John Lee Hooker, and in 2011, he was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame. His career spans more than forty years as a musician, and he is on top of his game. He notes with pride and some amusement, that he continues to see new, younger faces in his audiences. “There’s a younger generation now whose parents turned them on to our music,” he says.

7/16 - Aaron Lewis -- Saturday at the Canyon Club ... Aaron Lewis first rose to prominence as the founding member of Staind, with whom he released seven studio albums. Aaron Lewis has since made his journey to the country scene. In 2011 he released his debut country EP, Town Line, and enjoyed success with the gold-selling single “Country Boy,” featuring legendary George Jones and Charlie Daniels. The seven-song EP reached No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and No. 7 on the Billboard Top 200 upon its release.
